Hilary 29


Hilary turned 29 this past weekend. She went skiing in Whistler with a group of friends. Even one of the local birds came to wish her a happy birthday (look closely at her raised left hand). Mary ordered me also an electric bike which I picked up; now we can make cycling tours together....

Coastlines

Hilary sent us this photo taken from Vancouver West towards Stanley Park in downtown Vancouver. A beautiful view. Today I walked the small beach in Port Dalhousie - near St Catharines - along Lake Ontario. It can't really compete with the Vancouver vistas, but still pretty nice on a sunny day

Cleaning up again

Now that the snow is in the process of leaving us, it is time to clean up some garbage from the street sides again every now and then. Yesterday I picked up two garbage bags along our "road with the hills". It was a nice day and it felt good. On we go...

Freddie

Freddie, a fellow Rotarian in Welland, celebrated his 94th birthday last week. He still lives on his own, cooks his own meals, cycles, walks and it the fittest 94 year old that I know. He joins weekly Rotary meetings on Zoom. Go Freddie, go!

The past week I enjoyed working on another jigsaw puzzle. This time an old city map of Amsterdam.
