Marcy's oldest son Spencer - at the moment traveling in Japan - was a birthday present 25 years ago. Time flies with everybody's birthdays. Mary baked a February birthdays cake and Fiona did a good job decorating it. It was consumed the next day during this year's Family Day dinner hosted again by Susan & Ralph. Missing in action were Hilary and Shayd in BC, Spencer in Japan and Parker in Cambodia.
The baby in Hilary's tummy continues to grow; two more months to go. Other than not having many good sleeps, Hilary is in good shape. On the other side of the coin of (soon to be) newborns are two of my (relatively new) friends Tove (91) and Stan (88). I got to know them through the PROBUS club of retired folks. Both are in great shape for their ages, even though Tove had a mild stroke a few weeks ago, so Stan and I paid her a short visit this morning. No photos of the snow outside in this post, but instead a photo of the local YMCA pool. I arrived just after it was closed for a maintenance and did find I was the first one to jump in....
