Once upon a time these guys started their studies at the Delft University of Technology and their social activities bound them together for life. It was 48 years ago when these friendships started and yesterday, we got together for a lunch at the beach of Scheveningen. We were lucky with the weather. Initially this group was 14; two passed away; three were in South Africa, Italy and France; one was late; that left the nine of us on this photo. The beach area was busy with folks enjoying the nice fall weather....
Paying for parking took two engineers (but one of them lives in Mexico, so ....). We were early and enjoyed a nice walk on the beach before lunch.
Going to places in this small country with well-organized train connections is a good reminder in how this is possible in a geographical small country with dense population.
