Shayd from British Columbia (BC) and his mother Sharon from New Zealand (NZ) visited us for a stay of five days. Of course a visit to the Niagara Falls was on the program, as well as lunches and dinners with a variety of family members and friends. And Hilary, who visited us a bit longer, had big news: in April 2026 Mary and I will become "Oma" and "Opa"....
Several of Hilary's friends already entered the big adventure of parenthood, among them her friend from Grade 5 onwards, Taurie. She came for a visit with her seven month baby girl. In the meantime one of the sons of Marcy & Joe, Parker, took off for a working stay in Australia. His older brother Spencer plans to follow him next month. Spreading their wings and gaining life experiences. Their parents Joe and Marcy are enjoying a four week vacation in Italy.
