A week in Maputo to run workshops on "management & leadership" with senior managers of five vocational education & training institutions located in the northern provinces of the country. It is the start of activities during the coming three years as part of a contract with the Canadian government.
The Mozambicans worked in groups on leadership topics and then presented to each other. The country's higher education system has a long way to go, but there is a positive spirit. It is always nice to be back in this city where I worked for almost two years during the 1988-1990 period.
